Help Shape Wildfire Safety Efforts
Every resident has a part to play in reducing wildfire risk—through landscaping choices, simple home maintenance, and collective action. This short survey was created to learn more about what neighbors already know about wildfire preparedness, what concerns you most, and how interested you might be in volunteering for community fire-resistance projects. Your input could help guide local efforts to make the neighborhood and city more fire-resilient. City Council Candidate Forum

FAN/FH, along with four other neighborhood associations, is hosting a forum for the candidates running for Lake Oswego City Council in the November 2026 election. It will be held on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6:30-8:30 pm at Park Academy (1915 South Shore Boulevard).
At this time, there are six candidates running for four seats on the City Council. Councilors serve 4-year terms and make critical decisions that affect our neighborhoods and taxes. Please take this opportunity to hear from the candidates directly, learn about their qualifications and experience, and their opinions on topics that are important to your neighborhood. Representatives from FAN/FH, along with Evergreen, Old Town, McVey/South Shore, and Palisades neighborhood associations, will be asking questions of each candidate.
Please share with your neighbors. All LO residents are welcome, and there is no cost to attend. See you on October 23rd!
